Employer Request for Undergraduate Interns

If you’re interested in having one of our undergraduates come do an internship or research at your agency, company or organization, the best thing to do is to email the following information to safs@u.washington.edu:

When the internship announcement is recieved, it will be circulated it to the students and they will contact the worksite supervisor/contact person directly. The supervisor should then interview the applicants and make the selection, then send the student back to their UW adviser to determine which type of credit and how much is appropriate. The student will also locate a UW faculty member to serve as their faculty sponsor. There is a form that all three parties will need to sign to formalize the agreement.
