Student WorkshopThe proposed graduate program is a one-time workshop, where invited professionals will present useful and relevant information to graduate students. The meeting will also have a social component where students can mingle and exchange information.
The graduate workshop will be in the evening of the second full conference day (Nov 30). The workshop will last for three hours and will be designed to specifically address graduate students, but interested undergrads/post-undergrads can attend. Meeting Content/LayoutThe workshop will consist of three one-hour segments:
The first hour will consist of a relaxed social gathering while participants get their food and catch up with old friends and introduce themselves to new ones.
The second hour will be a large-group gathering and start off with a welcome from the NW Student Chapter and Student Member at Large. The focus of the hour will be invited speakers presenting information relevant to all students, regardless of their specific field of interest:
