Undergraduate LuncheonAn introduction to the Mentorship Program will be provided at the Undergraduate Luncheon on the first conference day (Nov 29). The luncheon will be attended by undergrads, graduate mentors, and the few graduate students that are briefly speaking during the luncheon. The luncheon will provide a casual opportunity for undergraduates to make initial connection with graduate mentors in their fields of interest. Mentors will wear corresponding color-coded stickers to identify them to undergrads for the duration of the conference.
We determined that six general field-based categories would be the most effective way for dividing graduate mentors and making them easily accessible to participating undergraduates.
The six categories are as follows: Behavior, Ecology and Population Dynamics, Physiology and Pathology, Acoustics, Genetics, and Policy and Management
