Welcome to the headquarters for the 2001 SMM Student Program to be held during the 14th Biennial Conference on the Biology of Marine Mammals in Vancouver, BC.

The workshop will consist of three main aspects. There will be an Undergraduate Luncheon focussed on the questions and needs of undergrads interested in marine mammalogy. The Student Workshop is open to ALL students, but will focus on the interests of graduate students. Lastly, the Mentorship Program will facilitate sharing of experiences between undergrads, graduates and research professionals.

We ask that all students planning to participate in the student workshop register as soon as possible. Those graduate students interested in serving as mentors should visit the Mentorship section.

The Student Program is being coordinated by the Northwest Student Chapter and the SMM Student Member at Large.
